I can't believe this comm didn't already exist~ ♥

So yesterday Yuri and I had our annual Christmas cookie making day~ It was fun, and we made a ton of cookies. Our usual peanut butter Reese's cookies (they are SUPER AMAZING), Mexican teacakes or whatever they're called, and a new one this year, candy cane cookies (which we were afraid we were going to fail miserably twisting the dough into candy canes, but we didn't! Go us!). We had sushi for dinner, which was awesome~ The only lame part was that I had to leave to go to work (at 8pm until 12:30am- can I just say that I can't wait for Target's holiday hours to be over??). It was a long, tiring, but overall good day.

Not much else going on. I'm looking forward to tomorrow because we're having a progressive dinner for young adults- basically, we're gonna go to different people's houses for the different courses of our meal. We're coming to my house for dessert. My brother's making cheesecake. ♥ And I think Yuri's making cupcakes, plus we're gonna have some of the cookies we made yesterday. We are gonna eat so much, omg. I can't wait. :D

And uh, Christmas cards are probably gonna go out on Tuesday. Sorry for being so lazy and slow. Maybe some of you will get them on time? ^_^;;

In other news, I basically spent all day with my brother. We went to lunch at Olive Garden- soup, salad and breadsticks ftw. Although it sort of made me sad to do that without Jamie! We used to do soup, salad and breadsticks all the time~ Anyway, after that we went to the mall to do some Christmas shopping since we both miraculously had the day off (I almost always work on Fridays lately), and randomly ran into Yuri and her mom while we were there. Hecka random! But cool, since her mom just flew in from Japan yesterday. Tomorrow they're coming over for dessert and games, since that's been the Carpenter/Namiki pasttime pretty much since we've all known each other. Should be fun. ♥ Anyway, then we came home and played some Rock Band, and I played the drums for like half an hour and, once again, got blisters. Why do I fail so much. D:

I'm probably gonna ditch work on Sunday because there's a youth staff Christmas party and I'm gonna be totally bummed if I miss it! If Target's lucky I might actually put forth a little bit of effort to find someone to work for me instead of just calling out, haha.
